This may be the School Business Manager opportunity you’ve been looking for… A well-regarded school in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced and strategic School Business Manager to join its leadership team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of school operations. Key Details School Business Manager required in Milton Keynes! Full-time, permanent position, starting as soon as possible Lead finance, HR, estates and operational services Work closely with the Head and Governors to support school improvement The School This is a forward-thinking and inclusive community school in Milton Keynes that places high value on pupil wellbeing, high standards and sustainable growth. Effective business and operational leadership are central to enabling excellent teaching and learning. Staff describe the school as supportive and well organised, with strong leadership, excellent facilities and a commitment to continuous development. The successful candidate will join a collaborative senior team and will have the opportunity to influence strategic planning, resource management and long-term financial sustainability. The school encourages innovation, professional judgement and pride in delivering high-quality services to pupils, families and staff. Location & Salary Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience School Business Manager – Experience & Skills Previous experience in school or educational business management (preferred) Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning and audit compliance Experience overseeing HR processes, contracts and safer recruitment practices Knowledge of estates, facilities management and health & safety responsibilities Ability to lead support staff teams and manage external contractors effectively Strategic thinker with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Confident communicator able to work with senior leaders, governors and external partners Legal right to work in the UK Application If you are a proactive and capable School Business Manager looking for a rewarding leadership role within an educational environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.
