EYFS Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons tailored to the needs of EYFS children. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn. Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear learning objectives. Encourage children to develop independence, creativity, and a love of learning through play-based and structured activities. Work closely with colleagues to ensure that the EYFS curriculum is delivered effectively and creatively. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress and well-being. Take part in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities to contribute to the overall success of the school. EYFS Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching in EYFS, with a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum. Passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A flexible, team-player who is eager to collaborate and grow professionally.
