Job description
Are you an inspiring and creative Key Stage 2 teacher who enjoys helping children grow in confidence and independence? Do you want to make a meaningful difference during an important stage in their learning journey? If so, we’d love to welcome you. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join our inclusive and high-achieving primary school in Slough from January 2026. This is a permanent position, open to full-time and part-time applicants, with potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate. The Role Position: Year 5 Teacher Location: Slough Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered TLR: Available for Subject or Phase Leadership (for the right candidate) As our Year 5 Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality lessons that stretch and inspire every pupil. Prepare children for the academic and social challenges of Upper Key Stage 2. Use assessment effectively to ensure progress for all learners. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff. (If applicable) Take on subject or phase leadership responsibilities. What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5. Are reflective, organised, and excellent communicators. Demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment to inclusion. Are open to taking on additional responsibility through a TLR. What the School Offers A supportive and ambitious teaching team.
