About the Role A successful and forward-looking secondary academy in Derbyshire is seeking a passionate and engaging Teacher of History to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a teacher who values collaboration, creativity and academic curiosity, and who is keen to work in a supportive, well-resourced department within a growing multi-academy trust. Key Details Position: Teacher of History Contract: Full-time, permanent Start Date: January 2026 Key Stages: 3–4 (with potential for A-Level teaching) The Department The Humanities team is dynamic and reflective, working together to deliver engaging lessons that build knowledge, empathy and critical thinking. History is a popular subject, with students enjoying a broad and challenging curriculum that covers both national and global contexts.
