Are you a practical and organised individual with a passion for supporting creative and technical learning? This could be an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic secondary school where Design & Technology is a key part of the curriculum. • Creative secondary school based in Poole • DT Technician to support a well-equipped and innovative DT department • Full-time position | ASAP start Our client is seeking a reliable and hands-on DT Technician to join a creative secondary school in Poole with an ASAP start. This is a vital support role within the DT faculty, ensuring workshops and practical lessons run safely and effectively. The successful DT Technician will prepare materials and equipment for lessons, maintain machinery and tools, manage stock and resources, and ensure health & safety compliance within workshops. You will support areas such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, and Engineering, working closely with teaching staff and the Head of Department. This role would suit someone with strong practical skills, good attention to detail, and confidence working within a workshop environment. School Information This creative secondary school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong student engagement, and commitment to delivering an innovative and broad curriculum. The DT department is well resourced and highly valued within the school. Staff benefit from supportive leadership and a collaborative working culture where support staff play a key role in student success.
