About the Role: An Outstanding school in Haringey is seeking a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts department. This full-time, permanent role is available for an immediate start (ASAP), offering an exciting opportunity to nurture students' musical talents and foster a love of music. About the School: This school values the arts and provides a vibrant and supportive environment for students to develop their musical abilities. The Music department boasts excellent facilities, including a well-equipped music room, practice rooms, and a performance space. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3-5, covering a wide range of musical styles and genres. Encourage students to explore their musicality and develop their performance skills through ensembles, choirs, and instrumental lessons. Guide students through GCSE and A-Level Music, fostering their appreciation and understanding of music theory and history. Organise and lead school concerts and musical events. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Music curriculum. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Music and committed to inspiring young musicians. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and musical skills.
