Teaching Assistant (TA) – Secondary School – Islington Role: Teaching Assistant (TA) Nature: Full-Time, Permanent Start: ASAP Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) A well-established secondary school in Islington is looking for a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team ASAP . This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting student learning and helping students succeed academically and socially in a dynamic school environment. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a thriving secondary school in Islington Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across various subjects Assist teachers in delivering lessons and ensuring students can access the curriculum Help students with special educational needs (SEN) , including supporting with individual learning needs and behavior management Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and motivated to succeed Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN professionals to deliver tailored support Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience working with secondary school students is preferred A passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their potential Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Ability to work with students of all abilities and create a positive learning atmosphere Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join Us?
