Job description
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire Start Date: September 2025 Salary: MPS – Competitive & in line with experience Are you an enthusiastic French Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to start your teaching journey in a supportive and ambitious school? We are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated French ECT to join a thriving Modern Languages Department in Farnborough. The Languages Department is highly regarded, and students are encouraged to develop a love for French language and Francophone cultures. The school offers a structured ECT programme, ensuring new teachers receive specialist mentoring, CPD sessions, and professional development opportunities. What’s On Offer? Work closely with a mentor to develop effective teaching strategies. Inspire a love of French language and culture through creative teaching methods. Contribute to extracurricular activities, including language clubs and international trips. Who We Are Looking For A French graduate with QTS (or working towards it). Passionate about teaching languages and inspiring students. A team player with strong communication and organisational skills. Committed to continuous professional development.
