We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon that is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis , starting January 2026 . Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting achievable learning targets. Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices. Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and wellbeing. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives. Year 2 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1 in a primary school setting. Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs. Commitment to professional development and collaborative teaching. Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a team environment.
