Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 students. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices. Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Year 2 Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1 in a primary school setting. Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs.
