Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Psychology ECT to join a high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Bournemouth . This is a full-time position starting in January 2026 , offering exceptional mentoring, training, and support to ensure a successful start to your teaching career. Psychology ECT required to work full-time Good mixed secondary school in Bournemouth Join a successful and supportive Social Sciences department with a comprehensive ECT induction programme The successful candidate will teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5 , guiding students through engaging topics such as behaviour, cognition, and research methods , while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning. Experience and Qualifications Psychology ECT ( PGCE or equivalent completed ) Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Psychology Commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional growth Legal right to work in the UK School Information This 11–18 mixed secondary school in Bournemouth is rated Good by Ofsted and is widely recognised for its academic success, inclusive ethos, and strong pastoral care .
