Job description
An enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher is sought by a well-regarded Independent co-educational school in Barnet. The successful candidate will inspire students in Key Stage 5 with the fascinating world of psychology, fostering their understanding of human behaviour and mental processes. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Psychology Teacher lessons to students in Key Stage 5 (A-Level). Develop students' understanding of key psychological theories, research methods, and ethical considerations. Foster a stimulating and analytical learning environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion. Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology, providing insightful feedback to support their academic development. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology. Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the A-Level. A strong academic background in Psychology and a passion for the subject. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of making complex psychological concepts accessible to students.
