Job description
Are you a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher seeking a new opportunity in an outstanding school? We are looking for an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a thriving department in a high-achieving school in Derbyshire, starting in January 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position and we welcome applications from experienced PE Teachers as well as ECTs. About the PE Department The PE department is a vibrant and successful part of the school, with a strong track record of success and innovation. As a PE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the department's continued success and inspire a love of learning among students. About the Role As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will include: • Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners. • Assessing student progress, setting targets, and providing constructive feedback. • Contributing to the PE department's curriculum development and resource creation. • Creating and maintaining a stimulating and supportive learning environment. • Working collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school. • Participating in relevant professional development opportunities. Experience and Qualifications • PE related Degree • QTS or PGCE • PE Teacher Salary The salary for this PE Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
