Job description
We are currently seeking an inspiring and experienced Music Teacher to join a vibrant Independent School in Oxford renowned for its creative energy and outstanding performing arts provision. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an already thriving department that values musical excellence and student creativity. • Music Teacher • Independent School in Oxford, Oxfordshire • Equivalent of MPS/UPS Salary (Independent Pay Scale) • Full-time position • Music Teacher role starting January 2026 School Information This Independent School in Oxford has a proud reputation for combining academic strength with cultural vibrancy. The Music Department plays a central role in school life, offering a broad curriculum complemented by extensive extra-curricular activities. Facilities include professional-standard recording studios, rehearsal spaces, and a concert hall. Students regularly perform in school productions, choirs, and orchestras, as well as in regional and national competitions. Role Information You will be teaching Music across KS3–KS5, fostering both practical and theoretical understanding. The successful candidate will be involved in leading or supporting musical ensembles and encouraging participation in performance-based activities.
