Art Teacher – High-Achieving Secondary School – Bath – September Start Location: Bath Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS An inspiring and creative Art Teacher is required for a highly-regarded secondary school in Bath. Your Role as Art Teacher: Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Teach a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media. Encourage students to explore their own creative expression and develop their artistic skills through both structured projects and independent work. Organize exhibitions and events to showcase student work and celebrate their creative achievements. Support students in developing their critical thinking and reflective skills, encouraging them to evaluate their own work and that of others. Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum to ensure it is innovative and reflective of current trends and practices in the art world. Who We’re Looking For: A qualified Art Teacher with a passion for visual arts and a creative approach to teaching. Strong subject knowledge, with experience in a range of artistic techniques and media. The ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their own artistic voice. Experience in teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential). Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
