Job description
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and reliable School Administrator to join a busy primary school in Slough , starting ASAP . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of a school and providing administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents. The school prides itself on its welcoming and inclusive environment. Staff work collaboratively to maintain efficient processes, clear communication, and a professional atmosphere. As a School Administrator, you will be an essential part of the team, ensuring that the school office runs effectively and professionally. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day school office operations Maintain accurate pupil records including admissions, attendance, and contact information Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff Support school leadership with administrative tasks Handle communications via phone, email, and letters Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events Monitor office supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order Contribute to school initiatives and support staff meetings Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Have experience in school administration or office management Be highly organised, efficient, and proactive Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be IT literate and confident with school management systems Be able to work independently and collaboratively Be committed to safeguarding and promoting a positive school environment The school is located in Slough , with excellent transport links.
