Job description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Music ECT who is passionate about performance and musical education. This position offers the opportunity to teach Music within an energetic and creative Oxford school environment that values the arts as an essential part of its curriculum. • Music ECT • Thriving and Creative School in Oxford • Equivalent of MPS/UPS Salary • Full-time position • Music ECT role starting January 2026 School Information This thriving Oxford school is known for its vibrant performing arts culture, excellent student engagement, and high academic standards. The Music Department benefits from well-equipped rehearsal rooms, recording facilities, and a dedicated performance hall. Staff collaborate to deliver inspiring lessons and organise concerts, musicals, and competitions that enrich school life. Role Information As a Music ECT, you will teach across KS3/4 and support extra-curricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, and school performances. You will receive full ECT induction support and mentoring from an experienced team dedicated to nurturing early career teachers. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Music or related field • PGCE and QTS • Ability to teach Music to KS3/4 Salary The salary for this position will be paid to scale.
