Job description
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire and empower young learners? Our friendly school in Barking and Dagenham is looking for a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join our dynamic community starting in April 2025. Role Overview Position: Year 3 Teacher Start Date: April 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent About Our School Situated in Barking and Dagenham, our school is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to thrive. We emphasize the development of essential skills in literacy and numeracy while promoting creativity and critical thinking. Our supportive staff work collaboratively to deliver an engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students. Your Responsibilities As our new Year 3 Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that stimulate curiosity and a love for learning. Create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate. Foster students' skills in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects using innovative teaching strategies. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to help each child succeed. Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers to create a collaborative learning environment. Work closely with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources. What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent). Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in a Year 3 setting. A passion for nurturing young learners and promoting a positive learning environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and families. A commitment to creating an inclusive and high-achieving classroom atmosphere.
