Job description
An enthusiastic Science Teacher with a specialism and passion for Biology is sought by a nurturing Independent Mixed school in Brent. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the wonders of the living world. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons with a focus on Biology to Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations, with a strong emphasis on Biology. Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment for biological exploration. Assess and monitor student progress in Science (Biology), providing clear and constructive feedback. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Biology or Science with a strong Biology background. Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4), with a focus on Biology. A strong and comprehensive knowledge of biological principles and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex biological ideas clearly and engagingly. Benefits Inner London Payscale.
