Job description
Established Secondary School in Lancashire, recognised for its inclusive culture and well-organised operations. • Full-time HR Officer required from January 2026 • Busy and professional school environment • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership This is a vital role supporting the school’s HR and personnel functions. The successful HR Officer will manage staff records, recruitment processes, and compliance, ensuring best practice and safeguarding standards are met. Experience and Qualifications • Previous HR or personnel administration experience (school experience desirable) • Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance • Experience handling confidential information • Knowledge of safer recruitment and safeguarding procedures • Excellent organisational and communication skills • Eligibility to work in the UK School Information The school places strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and professional standards.
