Job description
Maths Teacher in Cranleigh A well-regarded secondary school in Cranleigh is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maths Teacher to join their dedicated Mathematics department. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering the chance to inspire students and contribute to a positive and successful learning environment. The appointed Maths Teacher will be expected to deliver high-quality instruction and foster a love of mathematics. Location: Cranleigh Department: Mathematics Are You the Right Candidate? We are looking for a Maths Teacher who possesses the following: Qualified Teacher Status: (QTS or equivalent) is essential. Experience: Proven ability to teach Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Key Stage 5 experience (A-Level Maths and/or Further Maths) is highly desirable. Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics and a commitment to student success. Classroom Management: Excellent skills in creating a positive and productive learning environment. Collaboration: A willingness to work effectively as part of a team. Professional Development: A commitment to continuous improvement. A great Maths Teacher Responsibilities Include: Delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons. Assessing student progress and providing feedback. Maintaining accurate student records. Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom. Collaborating with colleagues in the Mathematics department. Contributing to curriculum development. Communicating with parents/guardians. Adhering to all school safeguarding policies.
