Job description
About the School An Outstanding 11–18 school in Bath, known for its creative energy and high academic standards, is seeking a Music ECT to join their vibrant Performing Arts Department from January 2026. The school serves 1,250 pupils, including a Sixth Form of 250, and is celebrated for its strong tradition in the arts, with over 40% of students participating in music ensembles and productions. About the Role This full-time, permanent position is ideal for an early-career teacher eager to combine classroom teaching with co-curricular involvement. The appointed teacher will teach Music across KS3–KS5 , guiding students in performance, composition, and appreciation. You will also help coordinate concerts, school musicals, and instrumental tuition programmes. The Music Department has exceptional facilities, including a recording studio , ensemble rehearsal rooms , and a performance theatre . Collaboration with the Drama and Dance departments ensures an exciting, multidisciplinary arts culture.
