This could be an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic secondary school where pastoral care is at the heart of student success. • Fantastic secondary school based in Bolton • Pastoral Support Worker to strengthen attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding provision • Full-time position | ASAP start Our client is seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join a thriving secondary school in Bolton with an ASAP start. This is a key role within the pastoral team, supporting pupils to ensure their attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding needs are consistently met. The successful candidate will work closely with Heads of Year, safeguarding leads, and senior leaders to monitor attendance patterns, follow up on concerns, implement behaviour strategies, and support vulnerable students. You will liaise with parents and external agencies where appropriate, ensuring clear communication and effective intervention. This role would suit someone calm, resilient, and highly organised, with the ability to build strong relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations. Leadership is supportive and proactive, and staff work collaboratively to ensure every student is supported both academically and personally.
