Job description
A well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Teacher to join its successful Humanities and Business faculty from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position, suitable for both experienced Business Teachers and Early Career Teachers. • Business Teacher • Secondary School – Birmingham • January 2026 start • Full-time, permanent role • Teaching across KS4 and KS5 About the School This mixed secondary school educates approximately 1,300 students aged 11–18 and is rated Ofsted ‘Good’ , with a strong reputation for academic progress and inclusive values. The school places a high emphasis on real-world learning and careers education. The Business department is well-established and popular at GCSE and A-Level, with students achieving consistently strong outcomes. Leadership is supportive, behaviour is excellent, and staff benefit from clear systems and strong CPD. The Role You will deliver engaging Business lessons across KS4 and KS5, contribute to curriculum development, and support students’ progression into higher education and apprenticeships. Candidate Profile • Qualified Business Teacher (QTS or equivalent) • Strong subject knowledge and exam-board familiarity • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities Salary Paid to scale on a direct school contract (MPS/UPS).
