Job description
A welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a creative and committed Art Teacher to join its thriving Creative Arts Department. This role includes a TLR for the right candidate and is ideal for an Art Teacher looking to take on additional responsibility within a supportive and inclusive school environment. Art Teacher required Welcoming secondary school based in Bournemouth TLR available for additional responsibility The role involves teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. Alongside delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons, the successful candidate will take on a TLR-linked responsibility, which may include curriculum leadership, mentoring, or leading a specific area within the Art department. Experience and Qualifications QTS and a degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong knowledge of a range of artistic media and techniques Experience or readiness to take on a leadership or responsibility role Ability to inspire creativity while maintaining high classroom standards A positive, collaborative approach suited to a welcoming school culture School Information This Bournemouth-based school is known for its supportive leadership, inclusive ethos, and strong focus on student wellbeing and creativity.
