Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Frinton-on-Sea for an immediate start . This is a full-time, permanent position within a supportive and creative department where the Arts play a valued role in the wider life of the school. The Role You will teach Art to students across KS3 and KS4 , supporting learners from foundational skill development through to GCSE portfolio completion. The department encourages a balance of technical accuracy and creative freedom , allowing students to explore a wide range of materials and processes while working within a structured curriculum. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering engaging theory and practical lessons Supporting GCSE coursework and assessment moderation Organising and maintaining high-quality displays Encouraging participation in enrichment, clubs, and competitions Contributing to cross-curricular creative projects where appropriate This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys both the academic and expressive sides of Art education. The Ideal Candidate Will Hold QTS and a relevant degree in Art or a related discipline Be confident working across a range of artistic media Demonstrate strong classroom organisation and behaviour management Have a genuine passion for visual creativity and student development Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to professional growth Salary Paid on MPS / UPS according to experience.
