Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic English ECT to join a high-achieving Grammar School in Reading from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, benefiting from a comprehensive induction and mentoring programme. This selective Grammar School has a long tradition of academic excellence, supported by a strong pastoral framework and an extensive co-curricular offering. Students are ambitious, engaged, and eager to learn, making it an ideal environment for a teacher starting their career. The English Department is dynamic and highly collaborative, encouraging creativity and critical thinking through literature and language.
