Job description
We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking and technically confident Design Technology Teacher to join a prestigious Independent School in Cambridge from January . This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated pupils across KS3–KS5 within a well-established and highly resourced DT department that values innovation, craftsmanship and design thinking. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons, contribute to curriculum development and support a strong co-curricular programme that encourages creativity, problem-solving and real-world application of design skills. Design Technology Teacher – Independent School Cambridge Full-time position January Start Competitive Independent School Salary School Information This academically selective Independent School is renowned for small class sizes, excellent behaviour and outstanding facilities. Experience and Qualifications Degree in Design Technology, Product Design, Engineering or a related field PGCE / QTS Ability to teach DT across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable) Strong workshop practice and health & safety awareness Passion for creative, practical learning and high-quality outcomes Salary A generous Independent School salary , commensurate with experience.
