Join a warm, community-minded Outstanding primary in Sutton as an EYFS Teacher , working on a Part-Time basis from January 2026 . This Part-Time EYFS Teacher role suits a reflective, playful practitioner who wants to shape children’s first steps in school and be part of a deeply supportive staff team. Why this Part-Time EYFS Teacher post matters From January 2026 , the Part-Time EYFS Teacher will be central to establishing routines, developing language and social skills and nurturing curiosity. The Part-Time EYFS Teacher will plan rich, play-based provision that meets Early Years goals while benefitting from the school’s outstanding practice. The Part-Time timetable is designed to give the EYFS Teacher focused teaching time and meaningful planning time — the Part-Time structure supports a healthy work-life balance for this vital role. What you will do as EYFS Teacher • Plan and deliver high-quality EYFS learning experiences; the EYFS Teacher will use observational assessment to personalise learning. • As EYFS Teacher, forge strong partnerships with families and lead smooth transitions from nursery to school. • Collaborate with teaching assistants and the Early Years team to design indoor and outdoor provision. • Help coordinate early years events, phonics workshops and parent meetings from January 2026. Essential skills & experience • QTS or EYFS-appropriate qualification and recent EYFS experience as an EYFS Teacher. • The EYFS Teacher we seek will be patient, creative and skilled in early communication and physical development support. • A commitment to the ethos of an Outstanding school and readiness to begin in January 2026 . This is a Part-Time EYFS Teacher role starting in January 2026 ; the Part-Time contract will be agreed at interview. The Part-Time EYFS Teacher will receive induction and ongoing mentoring throughout January 2026 and beyond.
