Job description
A creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher is required to join an Outstanding school in Harrow for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation of visual culture. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons covering a range of artistic disciplines and techniques to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop students' skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms. Foster a stimulating and inclusive studio environment that encourages experimentation and personal expression. Assess and monitor student progress in Art, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic journey. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design. Demonstrated experience teaching Art Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4. A strong knowledge of art history, theory, and practical techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a passion for art in students.
