Job description
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join a high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Bournemouth . This is a full-time, permanent position starting January 2026 , ideal for an early career teacher passionate about inspiring curiosity and achievement in Science. • Science ECT • High-Achieving and Supportive Secondary School in Bournemouth, Dorset • Full-time, permanent position • Science ECT role starting January 2026 School Information This Bournemouth school has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, inclusive values, and innovation in teaching . The Science Department is well-resourced with modern laboratories, up-to-date technology, and a highly collaborative staff team. Students enjoy an engaging, inquiry-based approach to learning that encourages exploration and discovery. Role Information You will teach general Science across KS3–KS4 and your specialist subject at KS5. The school provides exceptional mentoring and CPD for ECTs, including structured support, classroom coaching, and opportunities for rapid professional growth.
