Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join a supportive and vibrant school for a one-year maternity cover , starting June 2025 . This is a full-time position and presents an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Early Years education. The Role As a Reception Teacher , you will be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive Supporting the development of children's literacy, numeracy, and social skills Encouraging a love for learning through play-based and structured activities Collaborating with a team of dedicated Early Years professionals, teaching assistants, and parents Contributing to the school’s positive, inclusive ethos and overall development What We Offer A supportive and friendly team of professionals who work collaboratively Well-resourced classrooms and a fantastic outdoor learning space Ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills A positive and inclusive school culture where staff well-being is a priority A strong commitment to work-life balance and providing a caring, respectful environment Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Early Years (Reception) Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development A passion for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and parents About the School We are a vibrant and inclusive school, dedicated to providing a joyful and enriching start to education.
