Job description
Well-established Secondary School in Lancashire with a strong focus on safety, respect, and community values. • Full-time Caretaker required from January 2026 • Large and well-maintained school site • Supportive site and operations team This is an essential role supporting the safety, maintenance, and presentation of the school premises. The successful Caretaker will take pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students. Experience and Qualifications • Previous caretaking, facilities, or maintenance experience • Understanding of health & safety procedures • Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks • Reliable, flexible, and hardworking approach • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Eligibility to work in the UK School Information The school provides a respectful and stable working environment where support staff are highly valued. The site team works closely with leadership to ensure the school runs smoothly and safely.
