Job description
A friendly and ambitious primary school in Westminster is seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their dedicated team from January 2026 . This is a full-time, permanent position , offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development in the early years of their primary education. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 Strong understanding of phonics, early reading, and foundational learning Excellent classroom management and communication skills Enthusiastic, reflective, and adaptable practitioner Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS1 to meet the needs of all pupils. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing effective feedback and setting targets for improvement. Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports holistic development. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum units, share best practice, and contribute to school initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents and carers to promote pupil learning, progress, and wellbeing. Take an active role in school life, including professional development, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
