Business Studies Teacher – Co-Educational Academy – Sutton Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale A large and successful academy in Sutton is inviting applications for a Business Studies Teacher to join their forward-thinking Sixth Form and Upper School provision. About the Academy The school has undergone significant improvement in recent years and is now recognised for its strong leadership, modern facilities, and well-developed progression routes for both students and staff. It has an ambitious Sixth Form with excellent vocational and academic pathways. Business Department Information The Business Department is well-resourced and enjoys high levels of student interest at GCSE and A Level. Teachers work collaboratively to deliver contemporary units on marketing, finance, enterprise, and global business contexts. The team frequently hosts guest speakers and runs enterprise challenges. Role Expectations The appointed candidate will: Teach Business across KS4 and KS5 Support curriculum development and assessment strategy Engage with Sixth Form activities and employer-linked projects Applicant Profile: Ideal for a teacher who enjoys linking business theory with real-world application and preparing students for higher education or employment.
