Job description
Job Title: Year 5 Teacher Location: Hounslow, Greater London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: June 2025 About Us: We are a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Hounslow, dedicated to providing an outstanding education for all our pupils. We are now looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team from June 2025. Role Overview: As a Year 5 Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge our students in their final year of Key Stage 2. You will work closely with our dedicated team to deliver high-quality lessons, provide meaningful feedback, and create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who is keen to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to the success of our school. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons for Year 5 students Monitor and track individual progress, providing support where necessary Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment where all students can thrive Encourage and motivate students to develop a love for learning and achieve their personal best Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student development Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities We are looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A passion for teaching and working with children at Key Stage 2 Experience teaching Year 5 or similar age groups (desirable, but not essential) Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment practices Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment What We Offer: A welcoming and supportive school environment with a strong sense of community Opportunities for professional development and career progression A competitive salary and benefits package A positive and collaborative working environment with an experienced team of educators The chance to work in a well-resourced and inspiring school How to Apply: If you are an enthusiastic and motivated teacher with a passion for developing young minds, we would love to hear from you.
