Job description
We are currently seeking a passionate, academically strong and inspiring Science Teacher to join a prestigious Independent School in Oxford. This full-time, permanent position starts January 2026, offering small classes, exceptional resources and the opportunity to teach motivated and engaged students. About the Science Department • Purpose-built laboratories with modern equipment • Highly qualified team of subject specialists • Excellent GCSE and A-Level outcomes • Supportive technician team and strong practical science provision • Opportunities to be involved in Olympiads, academic competitions and enrichment About the Role • Teaching Science across KS3–KS5 (specialism welcomed) • Delivering practical and theory-based lessons to high academic standards • Supporting students applying for STEM university pathways • Contributing to clubs, competitions and science-based enrichment Experience and Qualifications • Degree in a relevant science discipline • PGCE with QTS (or international equivalent) • Experience teaching KS5 desirable Salary Independent School salary scale (highly competitive).
