Job description
An Outstanding-rated secondary school in Bath is seeking an experienced and highly committed SENCO to lead and further develop its Special Educational Needs provision. This is a key leadership role within a high-performing school, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful whole-school impact within a supportive and well-established environment. SENCO required Outstanding secondary school based in Bath Strategic leadership role with whole-school responsibility for SEND The role involves leading SEND provision across KS3 and KS4, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, families, and external agencies to ensure pupils with additional needs are fully supported to achieve their potential. You will oversee EHCP processes, manage interventions, and champion inclusive practice across the school. Experience and Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete within the required timeframe) Proven experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary setting Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and statutory SEND requirements Ability to lead, advise, and support colleagues with confidence and clarity Commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners School Information This Outstanding school in Bath is recognised for its exceptional leadership, strong academic outcomes, and inclusive ethos.
