Year 4 Teacher - Westminster

An ambitious primary school in Westminster is seeking a reflective and skilled Year 4 Teacher to take up post from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, knowledge-rich lessons, lead booster groups and support cross-phase projects. This Year 4 Teacher position in Westminster includes induction and pre-start planning before January 2026, with the Year 4 Teacher in post from January 2026. • Year 4 Teacher required for a full-time lower KS2 role • Year 4 Teacher required to work within a forward-thinking primary school in Westminster • Year 4 Teacher to join an experienced KS2 phase and contribute to whole-school improvement The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to set clear next steps, create a purposeful classroom climate and work collaboratively with subject leads to raise standards across Westminster. The Year 4 Teacher will also contribute to enrichment activities and support pupils’ wider development. Responsibilities Plan coherent Year 4 lessons that build vocabulary, knowledge and reasoning. Deliver focused interventions and monitor their impact on progress. Work with colleagues to moderate standards and develop curriculum resources across Westminster. Maintain strong home–school communication and support transition activities. Uphold high expectations for behaviour and learning. Person specification Qualified Teacher Status with recent KS2 experience and strong Year 4 practice. Excellent planning, assessment and classroom-management skills.
