Job description
A successful and inclusive secondary school in Rugby is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Physical Education from January 2026. The Role You’ll deliver PE across KS3–KS4 and contribute to a busy extra-curricular sports programme that includes netball, football, athletics, and outdoor education. GCSE PE and BTEC Sport are popular and well-supported, with excellent results. The Department The PE faculty is known for its strong team ethos and high participation rates. Staff collaborate on lesson planning and inter-school competitions, and enrichment is a major focus — with regular fixtures and trips to national sporting venues. Facilities Full-size sports hall and gym 3G pitch and athletics track access Newly refurbished changing rooms and fitness suite The School Rated Good by Ofsted, the school promotes achievement through teamwork and respect.
