Design Technology Teacher | Leicester | September Start About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an innovative and passionate Design Technology Teacher to join a successful and forward-thinking school in Leicester. The Design Technology Teacher will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering areas such as product design, resistant materials, and electronics. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire students to be creative and develop technical skills in various aspects of design and technology. The Design Technology Teacher will have the opportunity to develop the curriculum and create projects that allow students to apply their learning in practical contexts. This will include designing and producing prototypes, as well as learning about materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability in design. In addition to teaching, the Design Technology Teacher will be encouraged to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular activities, including design challenges, workshops, and student exhibitions. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
