Job description
Our client, a prestigious co-educational independent school in Leicestershire, is seeking an inspiring, knowledgeable and forward-thinking Science Teacher to join their outstanding Science Faculty from January 2026. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to teach motivated pupils in a department renowned for academic excellence and scientific innovation. • Science Teacher required – full-time, permanent • Prestigious Independent School in Leicestershire • Modern laboratories and specialist scientific equipment • Inspire high-achieving students in a well-resourced environment The appointed teacher will teach Science across KS3–KS5, with specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics depending on the candidate. The curriculum emphasises scientific enquiry, practical experimentation, analytical thinking and academic challenge. You will guide students through theoretical and practical components, lead investigations, model scientific methodology and support pupils pursuing STEM pathways at GCSE and A-Level. Opportunities exist to contribute to enrichment such as Olympiads, CREST Awards, STEM clubs and partnerships with universities.
