Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join our inclusive and vibrant primary school in Sutton . This is a wonderful opportunity to guide pupils through their final year of primary education, preparing them for the transition to secondary school while fostering confidence, independence, and resilience. The successful candidate will plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential. You will be expected to provide strong leadership within the classroom, maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning, and using assessment to monitor and track pupil progress effectively. This role is suitable for experienced teachers , though ambitious ECTs with a strong KS2 background will also be considered. The school values collaboration, and you will work closely with colleagues across the phase to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience for all pupils.
