Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join an Outstanding School in Derby starting in September 2025 . This is a full-time, permanent position, and both ECTs and experienced PE Teachers are encouraged to apply. You will also have the opportunity to take on pastoral responsibility , making a significant impact both academically and personally on the students. Key Information: Position: Physical Education Teacher Teaching to: KS3/KS4/KS5 Location: Derby Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (Depending on experience) Pastoral Responsibility: Yes School Information: This Outstanding school is highly regarded for its exceptional academic standards and a strong focus on student well-being. Experience and Qualifications Required: Degree in Physical Education or a related subject QTS or PGCE Experience teaching PE to KS3, KS4, and KS5 A passion for promoting health and fitness in young people Strong communication and classroom management skills A proactive approach to fostering student development, both academically and personally Salary: The salary for this Physical Education Teacher position will be paid to scale (MPS/UPS).
