Music Teacher - Sutton Secondary School - Inspire a Generation! Calling all passionate Music Teachers! Do you have the drive and talent to nurture a love of music in young people? is a thriving secondary school in Sutton, committed to providing a high-quality music education that develops students' musical talents, creativity, and appreciation for the arts. About the Music Teacher Role: We are seeking an exceptional Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful Music Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students of all abilities and nurturing their musical potential. What you'll do as a Music Teacher: Deliver engaging and innovative Music lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and musical interests. Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves musically. Teach a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques. Lead and direct school choirs and instrumental ensembles. Organised and participate in school concerts and musical productions. Assess and monitor student progress in Music , providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Music curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Music teaching. What you'll need to be a successful Music Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Music or a related field. Experience teaching Music at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for Music and a commitment to inspiring students.
