Job description
Textiles Teacher – Join a Vibrant and Innovative Community at an Outstanding Ofsted School in Hillingdon (KS4/5) Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong commitment to fostering a love of numbers and problem-solving in young people? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Textiles Teacher to join our thriving, values-driven secondary school community. Role: Textiles Teacher As a Textiles Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of Textiles. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of mathematical principles and their application. Your role will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Textiles lessons to students of various age groups (KS4, and KS5). Encouraging students to apply mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills in various contexts. Supporting students in their academic development, providing guidance and support when needed. Contributing to the development of the Textiles curriculum. Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Textiles. Ensuring the effective delivery of the Textiles syllabus. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Textiles department. Key Qualities We Are Looking For: A strong passion for Textiles and a desire to support students' mathematical journeys. A recognised teaching qualification in Textiles, or equivalent. Experience in teaching Textiles to secondary-aged students is highly desirable. A passion for developing young people academically.
