Job description
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for early years education? We are looking for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Leader to join our vibrant school in Redbridge, starting September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and inspire within a supportive and nurturing environment. EYFS Leader Role 📅 Start Date: September 2025 📍 Location: Redbridge ⏳ Working Hours: Full-Time 📄 Contract Type: Permanent The School Our thriving primary school in Redbridge is dedicated to providing a rich and engaging educational experience for our youngest learners. We foster a positive and inclusive environment where children can flourish both academically and socially. The leadership team values collaboration and innovation, ensuring that staff receive the support and professional development they need to excel in their roles. EYFS Leader Responsibilities Lead and manage the EYFS team, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the early years setting. Develop and implement a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing targeted feedback and interventions to support their development. Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning. Provide guidance and support to EYFS staff, promoting effective practices and continuous professional development. Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in their learning journey. Collaborate with other leaders and staff to drive school improvement and ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations. EYFS Leader Requirements ✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✔ Experience working in early years education, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework . ✔ Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of early years practitioners. ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ✔ A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences. ✔ Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all children.
