Job description
An outstanding boys’ school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its high-performing Mathematics department as soon as possible or from April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated and well-behaved pupils in a school where academic excellence and high expectations are firmly embedded. Mathematics is a core strength of the school, with consistently strong outcomes at GCSE and A Level and a clear focus on developing confident, analytical thinkers. The Role Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons Supporting pupils with exam preparation and intervention where required Encouraging logical reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical fluency Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Maths department Contributing to enrichment activities and wider school life The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach School Information This outstanding boys’ school in Manchester is known for its exceptional academic standards, exemplary pupil behaviour, and strong leadership.
