Job description
Borough: Islington (Inner London) School Status: Outstanding Ofsted Secondary School Start Date: ASAP Start – Permanent, Full-Time Curriculum Scope: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) only The Opportunity An Outstanding school in Islington is seeking a creative and energetic Drama ECT. This school is a hub for the performing arts, boasting professional-grade facilities. As an ECT, you will be supported in developing your artistic voice while managing a busy studio schedule in a community that values creative expression. ECT Induction & Support Communication Focus: Mentorship from an established Head of Faculty with a focus on performance-based communication. Technical Support: Guidance provided by a dedicated full-time Drama Technician for all practical elements. Collaborative Planning: Weekly sessions with other creative arts staff to maintain the high academic rigour of the faculty. Requirements & Compensation Essential: Must hold QTS and a relevant degree in Drama or Performing Arts. Salary: Inner London Teachers' Pay Scale. Benefits: Modern, well-equipped black box studio and generous holiday entitlement.
