Job description
A respected independent day school in Gloucester is looking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting January 2026. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking school that places great importance on practical education, creativity, and wellbeing. About the Role The successful teacher will deliver Food Preparation and Nutrition across KS3–KS5 , helping students develop essential life skills, nutritional understanding, and creative flair. They will design engaging lessons that blend theory, practice, and sustainability, encouraging pupils to think critically about food production and healthy living. The teacher will also contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme , leading cooking clubs, wellbeing workshops, and inter-house competitions that celebrate culinary diversity and innovation. The Food Technology Department features modern kitchens, demonstration spaces, and digital resources that allow for interactive learning.
