Job description
We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Brent that is seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher for a long-term supply position , covering from now until July 2026 . This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the youngest learners in a nurturing and supportive environment. EYFS Teacher Start: Immediate Long-Term Supply Until July 2026 Full-Time Flexible, supportive working environment The School This Brent primary school is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. The EYFS team focuses on creating a stimulating, hands-on learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence. The school works collaboratively to ensure all children receive high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for success in Key Stage 1. EYFS Teacher Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for EYFS pupils. Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and support where needed. Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan activities and share best practices. Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding children’s development and progress. Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required. EYFS Teacher Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception classes. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Commitment to professional development and working collaboratively in a team.
